Fast, precise cryotherapy for common benign lesions — from £65
What we treat
CryoPen® is ideal for small, benign skin concerns on the face or body, including:
Skin tags
Seborrhoeic keratoses
Cherry angiomas (red blood spots)
Milia
Solar lentigines / sun spots
Age spots and other superficial pigmented marks
(Selected) warts and verrucae
Moles: must be confirmed benign before removal. We can arrange in-house mole mapping with a consultant dermatologist from £99 per mole. Once cleared, we can schedule removal.
What we don’t remove
Any lesion that looks suspicious or is changing (colour, size, shape, border, bleeding, itching)
Infected or inflamed lesions
Very large, deep, or cystic lesions (we’ll advise on the best pathway)

How CryoPen® works (plain English)
CryoPen® delivers a pinpoint jet of nitrous oxide at around –89°C to the lesion only. The cold creates a controlled freeze that destroys the target cells. Your body then clears the treated tissue as the skin renews.
No cutting or stitches
Highly targeted (surrounding skin is spared)
Quick — typically a few seconds per lesion
Your appointment
Consultation – We confirm suitability (or arrange mole mapping first if needed).
Treatment – Each lesion is frozen for a short, controlled burst; some need a brief second cycle.
Finish – We apply a simple dressing if required and run through aftercare.
Time in clinic: usually 10–20 minutes depending on the number of lesions.
Healing & timeline (realistic)
Day 0–2: Area may look red/paler then darken; mild swelling or tingling is normal.
Days 3–10: A small crust/scab forms. Do not pick.
Weeks 2–4: Crust lifts naturally; new skin appears pink/fresh and settles with time.
Aftercare (keep it simple)
Keep clean and dry for the first 24 hours, then gentle cleansing only.
Don’t pick/scratch; let any crust fall away naturally.
No saunas/steam/swimming until healed.
Avoid active skincare (retinoids/acids/scrubs) on the area until fully settled.
SPF 50 daily on exposed areas while pink/new.
Makeup can be used once the surface is intact and not tender.
Risks (uncommon but possible)
Temporary redness, swelling, blistering, or tenderness
Crusting and temporary darker or lighter skin at the site
Rarely: persistent pigment change or minor scarring (risk is higher if you pick)
We’ll give you clear, written aftercare and tell you exactly when to contact us.
